ELIGIBILITY for B.Ed.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

ELIGIBILITY for D.El.Ed.

Candidates with at least 50% marks in the higher secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission.

Marks relaxation 5% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

5 year age relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 2 year for BC/OBC and 3 year for women Candidates. AGE Minimum 17 years and Maximum 34 years.

HOW TO APPLY

Application for admission into B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. Should be made on the prescribed form which can be obtained from the college office on payment of prescribed fees ` 500/- in office Or ` 550/- by demand draft in favour of “Mithila Teachers’ Training College, Madhubani”, Payable at Madhubani.

Application received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be rejected.

ENCLOSURE WITH THE APPLICATION:

Photostat copy of the certificate of Matriculation or S.S. Examination or equivalent showing the date of birth of the candidate.

Photostat copy of all mark sheets.

Photostat copy of S.L.C./ C.L.C./M.L.C./ D.L.C.

Photostat copy of other activities, accomplishment, if any.

The candidate shall sign in all attested certificates.

REQUIREMENT

Original S.L.C./ C.L.C./ M.L.C./ D.L.C. and other original certificates and degree are to be produced at the time of admission for verification/ submission.

Five copies of recent passport-size colour photograph of the candidate and five self addressed envelopes with stamp of Rs.27/- in two and Rs. 5/- in three are to be produced at the time of admission.

Admission charges as prescribed in the prospectus.

FEE STRUCTURE (B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. Course)

At the time of admission to the B. Ed. / D.El.Ed. Selected candidates are required to pay as per fee chart The above charges are to be paid in the form of Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank to be drawn in favour of “Mithila Teachers’ Training College, Madhubani” Payable at Madhubani.

OTHER INFORMATION

Admission into D.El.Ed. /B.Ed. of any candidate is provisional and may be cancelled if any discrepancy is detected in the paper/ document submitted or the candidate fails to comply with the rules, regulations and other conditions laid down by the college in the Bye-laws as well as prospectus of the college.

Admission even after confirmation may be cancelled in case the candidate fails show satisfactory progress in studies as well as on the ground of misconduct in and out of the college.

In case a candidate fails to submit his/her required documents at the time of admission along with required fees, he will forfeit his/her claim for admission to the concerned course and seat failing vacant will be allotted to other candidates from the waiting list.

Special facilities for poor and deserving trainees will be made available to the extent possible.

Seats are specialty available for Muslim minority community, Girls, SC/ST/OBC and extremely weaker sections of Community.

Rules of eligibility are followed strictly. The college however reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.

All the students admitted to the college shall have to give an undertaking that they will abide by the rules and regulations of the college and any violation of the same will justify their expulsion from the college.

The amount paid shall not be refundable. Any dispute related in concern with college / management & the concerned issue arising out vis-avis be adjudicated & settled in the jurisdiction of Madhubani.
